Participating in the Science Fair is a lot of fun, but a big commitment. The more you know, the better organized you'll be and the more fun you'll have! Below is some important information to make the most of your Science Fair experience.
-
Your project should be something which interests you and which you want to learn about. We want you to have fun, learn something new, and put forth your best effort in your Science Fair display. We trust that you will be safe, wear appropriate safety gear when necessary (such as eye protection), and not cause any harm to yourself or others, including animals.
-
You should choose a topic within one of five scientific categories. When you register for the Fair, please indicate which category you are working in.
-
-
Life Science (Biology, Plants & Animals, Ecosystems)
-
Physical Science (Energy, Matter, Motion)
-
Earth & Space Science (Solar System, Fossils, Geology)
-
Consumer Science (Cooking, Product Analysis)
-
Behavioral Science (Learning Style, Memory, Emotional Response)
-
Projects must be completed by Thursday, March 29 and can be brought to the gym between 6-7pm on Wednesday, March 28 or the between 8-8:30am on the 29th. Displays should not be brought to the school outside of these times without prior arrangements.

If your project requires special accommodation (extra table space, access to an outlet, etc.) please contact Beth Donahoe, beth.donahoe@comcast.net.
-
Be sure that your project is clearly labeled ON THE FRONT with your name, teacher, grade, and scientific category.
